I have one, lol
How did you start competing?
I had reached a very low point in my life. I went through a pretty devastating break up and lost all motivation to continue to work out. I was only working out for aesthetic reasons at the time but I knew that I needed to invest more into my strength so I could pull myself out of my rut. With the help of some close friends, I joined a powerlifting team who signed me up for my first meet.
How long have you been competing?
Almost 3 years
What is your proudest moment/achievement in your sport?
Getting to compete at USPA Drug Tested National’s last year (2019).
What are your favorite foods to eat?
Pizza and ribeye
What do you like to do outside of the Gym?
I like naturing-- going on hikes (short ones, because let’s be real, I have no stamina), sand volleyball, laying on the beach; I dedicate a lot of time to my schooling (Master’s student) and I love investing time in learning and knowing more.
Who are your inspirations or people you look up to?
I especially look up to people in my industry who are a few steps ahead of me and actually conducting research in my field of interest. I.e. Brad Shoenfeld, Layne Norton, Alan Aragon, Bill Campbell, to name a few.
What’s something about you that not many people know?
I am terrified of grasshoppers.
